Abstract: This 8 page report discusses the concepts of realism and anti-realism. Issues related to philosophy, ethics, economics, and science are as much intertwined with the concept of realism as any modern political application. Traditional scientific realism presents very singular opinions regarding scientific hypotheses, theoretical entities, and scientific understanding: theories in mature sciences have been most often found to be true.
