Europe: Present and Future Political and Cultural Center

Abstract: An 8 page overview of the importance of Europe in history and the future in world politics and cultures. Traces European influence from the early Minoan civilization to the present, noting contributions to art, architecture, economics and politics. Discusses the importance of capitalism, the Industrial Revolution, and more recent political innovations such as the European Trade Union. Concludes that Europe's influence is not strictly historical in context but is an influence which is continuing to this day and which is insured well into the future. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
