Drug use Portrayed in Films

Abstract: In 9 pages, the author writes an essay on drug use portrayed in films. America has an active romance going with illicit drug use. This is evident in the number of films in which drug use is portrayed. Drug use is portrayed in the manner that it actually happens on the street, or in whatever venue it occurs. This use of drugs has been portrayed as both appealing and as disgusting. The film industry has taken this taboo and shown the highs and the lows of drug use. Bibliography lists 15 sources.
