Assessing Quality in Distance Learning at the Graduate Level

Abstract: A 7 page paper discussing the need for quality assessment in Internet graduate programs. Most evaluation of college programs available online has been centered on economics and the ability to reach a greater number of students. There has been much less focus on the quality of the education gained through the approach. A University of Illinois study has determined that the quality of education gained through an online-only approach is of less value than that gained in the traditional educational setting.
