Abstract: (8 pp) Who is Charles Taylor and what is he doing to Liberia? According to Sheer (2000), from 1990 to 1997, 30,000 to 60,000 armed fighters (10 percent of whom were under the age of 15) raped, stole, and killed their way across the country of what used to be 2.5 million people. Approximately 150,000 to 200,000 people were killed and 1.5million fled their homes. Civil warfare has been eating away at this African nation since 1989. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
