The Renaissance And Ghosts

Abstract: An 8 page paper. There was a great deal of superstition during the Renaissance, much of which had carried over from the Middle Ages. Part of their belief system was the ability of the deceased to reappear and the ability of some to communicate with these spirits. This paper discusses these beliefs and provides examples of some of the appearances that were eventually recorded in literature. Shakespeare is used as one of the examples. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
