Abstract: This 6.5 page paper gives an overview of the underlying causes of the Black Plague(Bubonic Plague) which broke out in Europe in the 14th Century. The economic, social and political ramifications as a result of the devastation from the plague are discussed and examples given. Bibliography cites 4 sources.
