The Relationship Between Drugs And Terrorism

Abstract: 5 pages in length. The seemingly unrelated association between drugs and terrorism has made itself painfully clear over the past six months in the wake of September 11th's terrorist attack. What has come to light is the fact that the very act of terrorism requires significant amounts of money to undertake and unless the terrorists are independently wealthy, they must raise that money by any means they can. The financially alluring aspects of drug trafficking is, indeed, a natural path for terrorists to take in order to secure their monetary needs, providing them with a fast and extremely lucrative method for carrying out their terrorist plots.
