Breast Implants

Abstract: An 8 page review of the issues surrounding breast implants. Reviews the popular literature on the subject and addresses why a woman would opt for such a procedure and the potential complications. Included information on the legal cases which have resulted from problems with implants and cautions that it the media which shapes our attitudes both about how a woman should look and about the potential dangers of implants. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
