Women in Sports

Abstract: A 26 page paper which discusses various aspects and concerns dealing with women in sports today. Issues addressed include a very close look at Martina Navratilova and her career, which helps to define many of the realities that face athletic women today. In addition the many psychological and sociological areas of involvement are discussed and further defined. Women sports have come a long way in the past few decades, but there is still a very long way to go if women are ever to be truly accepted into the field of sports. Bibliography lists 15 sources.
