FIRO-B & Hypnosis

Abstract: A 3 page research paper that addresses these two topics. The Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior, which is popularly known as FIRO-B, was developed in the 1950s as effective assessment instrument that helped people to better understand themselves and how to work more effectively within groups (FIRO-B). Hypnosis has been shown to have effective therapeutic applications, such as optimizing performance and control anxieties in reference to one's job, as performance anxiety, in general, can be helped through hypnotherapy (Schwartz). This examination of these two topics suggests ways in which FIRO-B can be utilized within the hypnosis process. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
