Memoir: "A Beautiful Mind"

Abstract: 7 pages in length. The student chose this memoir due to the personal association she has with the disease, inasmuch as her sister has suffered from schizophrenia for the past two decades. Having endured such drastic treatment options as electric shock therapy as well as medication treatment, the student's sister has failed to reach any level of mental balance; as a direct result of the paranoia inherent to schizophrenia, the student's sister has since isolated herself from family and friends.
