Costs and Benefits of Lowering Carbon Emissions in the United States

Abstract: This 8 page report discusses the various issues surrounding the economics of reducing global warming through reducing carbon emissions to the environment. The existence of global warming is not disputed, but the impact of the greenhouse effect and the cost of abatement are the subject of intense debate. It is imperative to view global warming from both the human perspective and the economic costs and benefits of reducing emissions in order to enable policymakers to come up with appropriate actions.
