Abstract: 4 pages in length. The person with whom I compare myself has no conscience or compassion toward other living beings on this planet. This individual represents the antithesis of everything I live for and does not even recognize the pain and suffering he manifests in the name of enjoyment. The extent to which the rodeo is considered a socially acceptable activity designed to entertain the human species is both grand and far-reaching; that my reason for being on this Earth is to reduce the suffering man causes his animal counterparts speaks to the polar opposites that define me and the cowboy who abuses animals for amusement.
