Abstract: An 11 page case study examining the events and findings regarding a booster rocket design flaw in the space shuttle series of which Challenger was part. Roger Boisjoly was a red-flag-waving engineer who was regarded as the country's leading expert in the area, yet his company, Morton Thiolkol, refused to listen to his concerns about the safety of the entire mission. Challenger exploded just after liftoff on January 28, 1986. Boisjoly began to formulate his theories fully one year before. One source cited.
