The Mexican Revolution

Abstract: A 16 page research paper that gives an overview of this turbulent period in Mexican history. The writer argues that the leaders of the Mexican Revolution were just as courageous, just as idealistic and just as patriotic as the leaders of the American Revolution. Like the early U.S. leaders, they also were not in total agreement as to their vision of how their country's future should be accomplished; however, the Mexican leaders lacked the administrative skills and experience that enabled their U.S. counterparts to compromise and form an effective government. Consequently, the history of revolution in Mexico was much more turbulent than that of the U.S. and was marked by successive revolts. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
